1Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the services offered by Dialpatch ("Dialpatch," "we," "us"). By calling our line, using our website, or registering as a Contractor, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2What Dialpatch is

Dialpatch is a referral and dispatch service. We operate a phone line that answers requests for home services, identifies the caller's need and location, and connects the caller with an independent third-party Contractor who has chosen to serve that area. Dialpatch does not itself perform any home-service work, does not employ the Contractors, and is not a party to any agreement between a Caller and a Contractor.

Some professionals we connect are registered Contractors who signed up and agreed to these Terms. As a fallback — when no registered Contractor is available — we may also connect a Caller with a professional we identified from public sources (such as business listings and public licensing records) who has not registered with us. We take reasonable steps to confirm publicly available licensing for such professionals where possible, but we do not independently verify every credential, and do not verify insurance, for all professionals. A connection is never an endorsement or guarantee — see Terms for Callers and Independent contractors.

3Not an emergency service

Dialpatch is not a 9-1-1 service and not a substitute for emergency services. Do not rely on Dialpatch for life-threatening situations. If safety keywords (such as gas, fire, or a medical emergency) are detected, we will direct the caller to hang up and dial 9-1-1, and will not connect the call to a Contractor. You are responsible for calling 9-1-1 in any emergency.

4Terms for Callers

5Terms for Contractors

By registering as a Contractor, you represent and agree that:

6Contractor billing

7Call recording

Calls are recorded and may be transcribed as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, Callers and Contractors consent to the recording of connected calls.

8Independent contractors

Contractors are independent third parties. Dialpatch does not control and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, work quality, conduct, pricing, or licensing of any Contractor, and makes no representation about them. Any dispute regarding services is between the Caller and the Contractor.

This applies equally to professionals we identify from public sources and connect as a fallback (described in What Dialpatch is). Any licensing check we perform is limited to publicly available records at a point in time, is provided for convenience only, and is not a guarantee that a professional is currently licensed, insured, or suitable. The Caller remains responsible for confirming a professional's licensing, insurance, pricing, and suitability before authorizing any work.

13Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date, and continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
